Brettw Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Picked up some things from an auction I won. The auction was an industrial truck business and they had a number of Allis parts for older forklifts I am assuming. So, now I need to find out what exactly I have and how to re-home it vs. sending it to the scrapper. Some general stuff is what I bid on (nuts, bolts, springs, etc.) but a treasure trove to the right guy. As a result, I now am the bronze bushing and spring clip guy too (there must be 500 spring clips if not more). A number of electronic controllers for electric forks, ring gears, pressure plates and clutch's (possibly Ford?) drive chains. Maybe someone with some experience with Allis industrial forks can pipe up on what some of this stuff is! 1
maxwood Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Hello, I enjoy buying lots like that , sorting through the parts writing down part # s and identifying what I can resell & what is scrap . Good Luck, Thanks for sharing. Thanks Ken in Mi 1
PhanDad Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Ask @720nut how you can install the pressure plate with housing (to my eyes), clutch plate, and other misc parts into the pulling tractor you're going to build. If you have time to sort parts, you must have time for another project. 1
