GregB Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 (edited) Finally got to use this monster yesterday. Having the Driveway extended and paved and the guy doing the grading just did not get the way I wanted the slope. Gave me a reason to use the Earthcavator to loosen then pull the excess into piles. Used the Legacy XL to remove excess to pile elsewhere. Tried to dig with it, but it was much easier to set the grade using the Big Ten and Earthcavator. Edited July 28, 2019 by GregB 9
PhanDad Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Big Ten = little tractor that could. While the Newbie looks on in amazement. 3
Talntedmrgreen Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Glad that is working out for you!! They are very effective. These days a fella needs to buy a subcompact in order to have attachments available and do work like that. 2
Chris727 Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Have one of those I haven't gotten around to using yet. Need to adapt it to sleeve hitch first. Looks like they do a great job.
GregB Posted August 3, 2019 Author Posted August 3, 2019 Been using it with the Big Ten so far. Think I will try to switch it to the 917 to spread the topsoil/mushroom soil mix. I know I will loose down pressure, but i think the 917 hydro lift is a little easier to keep consistant heights and get an even layer of the topsoil. 1
