Trans swap

Does anybody know if a 3 speed transmission from a 1969 12 horse Simplicity (don't know any model #) will fit in a 1977 baron 7013S. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Frame, transfer case, plates and trans numbers all seem to be different but that doesn't mean that you can't take everything from behind the transfer case and bolt it on as an assy. Check the transfer case mounting/spacing first. Maybe someone who has a 3212 handy could compare a measurement with you. My book shows that series as variable speeds.
