Doesn't do as good a job as when done by hand, but sure is easier.......... http://home.att.net/~herb.niewender/rake-seq.jpg

The part to pick up the leaves must be on the front of the tractor.

rig up a contraption like that...... then go into the woods and drag leaves onto your lawn (notice how nice it looks in the top pics) just so you have something to do... way too much time on somebodies hands.... John (if it sounds like I'm jealous, it's because I am!)

JR, It comes off with one pin and will fit your B-112. Don't pick on me. Until you gave me that 7012, I had enough time on my hands to go to the beach, sip gin & tonic, and pretend to wind surf. Now I raise grass.......

Dutch - Try replacing the racks with hand shovels. Then you would have a pair of backhoes.

Well Dutch, as Red Green would say "If the women can find you handsome, they should at least find you handy" This contraption would make a good "handy man's corner" sequence on the show. Mike S.

Actually Herb, a bit more enginnering to get the sweeping moition and you stoled my 'someday to do' idea...Looks cool. Is the dragging of leaves outta the woods kinda like 'plowing' hard pack snow??.MPH

Hey Dutch, like Mike says quoting Red Green.. Red Green is my favorite show on TV - typical man show. Hope you enjoy it also although, Red Green holds everything together with DUCT TAPE - where is yours?? This reminds me of many years ago I made a "gang" towing setup for a guy with about 4 acres to mow and only had a small garden tractor. He accummulated 3 walk behind mowers with running engines and I made him one that pulled the mowers and let them independantly follow the terrain. Worked well. Ole' farmer and otherwise engineering is fun isn't it?

Cover the rakes with canvas, tilt them up, move them back and forth quickly and you have a great fan for hot weather work.
