I bought one for my 3212V and I dont think it was over 50.00. Ill look for the reciept. Seems like it was around 30. ddh

I'm going to replace my vari-speed drive belt on my 312 this weekend. So, I called a Simplicity dealer for price and availability. The dealer says there are two belts one is 34" for $10.75 and the other is 53" for $14.25 . Both belts are Goodyear brand. I would think the price would be higher for this type of belt. Also, which size do I need? I was hoping for a simple solution. I know this has been discussed before. Belt length has been quite an issue.

I believe your dealer misinformed you. The 34" is the reverse belt and the 53" is the forward belt for the shuttle tractors. To my knowledge, there is only one vari-drive belt and it is over $50. Pat.

The vari-drive belt part # is 164080 that we sell for $56.80 plus tax.

Dave, Pat, Ken Thanks for the info. I didn't beleive I'd get off that cheap. I sorta figured around the fifty dollar range. Now, armed with the right part number I'll be ready for tomorrow. Thanks again !!!
