Sickle bar mower HELP!!

Recommended Posts

GregB
I picked up what appears to be the first type sickle bar mower. It has its own handle for lifting the blade in the air. It also has what looks like a dog bone drive connector not the "heim" joint drive connector. The casting is marked 101029. The sticker says Model 202? it is faded and smeared from paint removal. Every thing is free and moving but there is no drive belt with it. I am mounting this on a late B-10. Does any one have an owners manual/parts list for this early mower? What drive belt length do I need between the PTO and the mower? Thanks for any help you can give. Greg
