Whats The Diff???????

The 710 is identical to the 3410, except for original engines. The 710 would have a Kohler and more than likely your 3410 has a B&S. The ignition wiring harness will be different. The Kohler uses a battery ignition (needs 12v to power the coil and ignition, while the B&S uses a magneto ignition and needs a battery only for starting power. Everything else (all mechanical parts) between the 2 tractors is interchangeable. So you can drop the 3410 engine in the 710 but check the wiring. Good Luck! Mike S.

Hello I bought an allis 710 today with out a motor thinking it was the same as my 3410 but it's the same as a 7010 whats the difference???? I had bought it for the transmission mainly because my 3410 is a shuttle and if it were to go bad I would want to switch it to a 3 speed.. will this trans out of the 710 interchange????????? I realize that it wouldn't be a shuttle.... or can i just put my engine in the 710?????
