Thanks for the help W\my problem. I think it may be an ignition problem. I was doing a search for emulsion tube when I found an article by Brent with an identical problem on a 3416h. It ended up being points and condenser. Mine is unhooked and an electronic ignition was installed. I'm not sure exactly what type was used yet. I can check that and the flywheel key for starters. I'll write an update when I figure it out. Info about emulsion tube and seat was also helpful. Mark
