Tuff to mount a heater on a soft cab, I think wah

I was actually looking at the left front running board,  you know, all the wasted space were there could have been a brake pedal?

@GregB,

You can probably wait until spring to mount the heater based on the mid-Atlantic winter so far.  My tractors have been sitting and waiting for month's.  The only snow I've had was a couple weeks ago on the weekend I was away.  Neighbors said we got about an inch before it turned to rain.  If I was home, I might have fired up the blade tractor just because.

You had maybe 1 snowfall so far when you got some winter tractor time?

Interesting take on Air heat.  think when I do it I'll use a waterbased heater like Josh Described.

As far as snow and cold, about none of each really. Just wet like today.

Probably because I have the XL with a blade, and a Sovvy with a blower.

That and I bought snow tires and rims for the Subaru Outback this year.

Josh,

On your heater where did you place it? And where did you pull the 12v power feed from?

I have not even started to look under the hood, much beyond fluids etc.

But the 17 degrees this am got me thinking. sm03

This year I added quick connects for the cooling lines, so I do not have to mess with hoses and coolant mess anymore.

Greg here is that quick connect setup and the location of my heater.

Looks good Josh.  I hope to borrow your idea for my cab

The worst we had this winter was 6-8 " , The day that NWS predicted 2"! This year looks like a new term is added to the gardening vocab "hydroponics"! Today is pushing 62 with an overnight of 44. a couple nites in the low 30s coming up1. NWS (two wees ago) switched their menu to exclude the winter choices in the Hourly graphics and tables.
