gretsch 0 Posted May 6, 2002 That "mint condition with only 60 hours" AC 620 in Louisville, Ky had a high bid of $5,100 and it still did not meet the reserve price. I'm thinking of auctioning off most everything I own!
UCD 15 Posted May 6, 2002 Mint was keyword the guy must think it is made out of gold. This & $1.00 might get yoou a small coffee Maynard aka/UCD
JeffG 0 Posted May 6, 2002 When you think about it - if it really was in "mint" condition - >$5100 probably wasn't really too bad. Just don't know where the reserve was set at. If you'd price out a new 20 hp tractor with the capabilities of these tractors, it would cost much more. However, a new one would have a solid state ignition, power steering and a warranty. My gut feeling is that the guy probably didn't really want to sell the thing, anyway. Jeff
BradW 0 Posted May 6, 2002 Hey was looking for value, or his wife wanted it gone and he had a high reserve so it wouldn't sell. If that's the case who could blame him,.....smart plan,,,,-BradW
Brent_Baumer 5 Posted May 6, 2002 Brad, I hate to tell you this but I figure you're gonna find it out someday anyway. If his wife REALLY wanted it gone it would be. Trust me. No matter what we (men) say, or how tough we talk, reality eventually sets in. It is much easier just to comply and move on. Just make sure you pick one who supports, or a least tolerates, your hobbies so you won't be faced with that situation. Brent
Tuffy 1 Posted May 10, 2002 $5100 would be a bargain if it is truely mint.
