Looking for idler pulley 2105380SM

CrackedHead

Hello all,

I have a new to me 36 inch tiller. One of the idler pullies is seized up it looks like it's part number 2105380SM. The pulley measures 4.5 inches with a 1 inch bore with a set screw. The dealer gets $93 for it, are there any other options for this that other people used?

The tiller is a 1690039 I'm looking for part number 28.

SEPW shows it for $77. I have seen a couple of alternate fixes. Putting a nut or threads in the tube to be able to secure a more generic idler in place. Have also seen a bearing with a locking collar and a generic plain pulley like one you weld onto a hub.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
