After spending hours doing what I could over the weekend, all I was able to confirm is that it is/was server problems. I got the programmer involved who developed the BBS software (Paul Mayer, who also posted a test message) in checking both the state of the database and the programs.

I'm following up with the host provider today... Other than speed, though, it seems to be working now. I HATE these intermittent problems -- ever tried to troubleshoot an ignition coil or resistor that only started breaking down when it's hot -- that's kind of what it feels like....

Again, sorry for the poor service. If I have to continue doing this, we may be moving once again to another host....

Kent, hang in there. I also want to add my thanks for your many long hours of work here.

This forum is a resource that is WITHOUT PARALLEL. It exists because of your efforts. If it occasionally shows a glitch - I DON'T CARE. I'm so grateful that it's here and as wonderfully effective as it is!!!
