I did a double take when I first saw this at Fleming's Truck Meet today. http://home.att.net/~herb.niewender/minig-seq.jpg

That's a cool little tractor! Looks like a pretty ambitious project to build though. Thanks Dutch! Paul

Roy, If you miss the ability to drag your feet, I'll buy a piece of "old iron" (your choice) and swap you for your new Sovereign (I like running boards).

Did you get a chance to ask the guy what components he used to make it? It looks like a walking tractor with a few twists. Sandy

Sandy, The builder (Ken Moore) told me it's a Cub Cadet. He moved the engine to the rear and drove the trans from the backside instead of from the front. He made it sound easy. I told him he sounded modest, and it was a beautiful job (the truth!).

Dutch, Thanks for the generous offer but I think I'll keep my Sovereign. Horsepower is nice, it mows beautifully, and I don't have to fix it every lap or so around the yard. I use my B-1 for tilling and have a 700 to restore. In a few weeks I'm going to pick up a 1973, 725 with mower deck and dozer blade so I'll have enough old iron to drag my feet with. Cheers, Roy

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
