goatfarmer
I've come across 2 Simplicity tractors,a 4208 Regent, and a 6116 Broadmore. They're both abandoned at an empty house. The Regent is pretty much complete, except the engine is in pieces. Can't tell much about the Broadmore,it has a few bushes growing around it. Would these be decent tractors to acquire? They don't appear to be as heavy duty as my 3410 Landlord.I'm figuring these are mid 70's versions. How about parts availability? Any interest out there? TIA kenny l
lsenus
The 6116 was made from '79-'81 I believe. I have one that has turned 23 this year and is still going strong. Last fall I was able to get a 36" snowblower and a New In Box hitch & lift rod for it. The 6000 series are good dependable tractors. They do not however have a 3 point hitch, but there are several rear attachments made for them and seem to be still readily available.
