Resurected some pictures of the one I had, a GC2300 from around 2004. These are of the forkset I built for it.  Very handy. They did not have a quick attach option at that time, nor a forkset available. Perhaps they do these days for yours.

I think the JD 855 is a real CUT,,,this is labelled as a SCUT but I think all the tractor makers have stopped calling them  Garden Tractors and now calling them all SCUTS...there is a huge difference in the wheel sizes though...which brings up in my mind the little Economy Tractors with 16" wheels on the rears ...it does give them a certain look that has to be appreciated

CUT, SCUT. What does that stand for?

Hello, I have the Massey GC1705  .I have had it for 2 1\2 years and love it .It does Digging mowing, snow plowing, pulling small trees out of the ground!

I am glad I bought it .I borrowed the 60 inch Brush hog  from a friend to use on a 2 acre field that I purchased next our property.

Thanks Ken in Mi

I drilled holes in the ROP and turned the rear lights inward ..I almost took one off on a tree on the first trip into my yard...I found snap in hole covers at ACE

Yes, definitely though a very small CUT.  This was one nuance I uncovered later in my research.  I never thought about the limitiations of the shorter rear tires in reagrds to 3-point hitch performance; when I finally got some seat time on the 855, I realized how much of a difference it makes.  There are special sub-compact versions of implements, but they cost more than standard CAT 1 implements, and finding used ones (the route I went) is difficult.  The proportional size of the tires to an ag tractor is also something I appreciate  now that I own it (an aesthetic preference).

Hello, The front end loader has a float position, so that it will follow the contour of the ground without down pressure.

read the owners manual  for more info!

Thanks Ken in Mi

I have had a bunch of different loaders...with and without float....but with these you can clean out the snow in a gravel drive way without scooping up the gravel
