PhanDad
But as with most things these days, it's not the same - size, probably quality, and definitely not the price. Simplicity part #1686712: Priced at $334 at Jack's. The adapter plate must be worth a couple hundred.
Brettw
That's crazy, ridiculous pricing.
spi
I like my butt to be comfortable but for that price I can sit on an old worn out seat.
kwt
All I want or need is the cover.
tripleguy
That's 1/3 of what my tractor is worth! The vinyl on my seat is starting to accelerate in its cracking but I'll be damned if I'm coughing up 300 bones for a new seat. One roll of black duct tape will do just fine. Heck, I'll take it in and have it covered in Horween leather for less.
Chris727
This was one of the more durable types of seats Simplicity used. I like to pick them up used.
GWGAllisfan
What is really needed is an adapter bracket to allow fairly readily available seats to fit the unusual Simplicity bolt pattern.
