dhoadley
With the new engine in my Broadmoor, I thought I'd take a serious swing at snow removal with the blower attachment this winter. I don't want to use chains if I don't have to, so I got "winter tires" for it. These are going on the front. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRR-5170161 I seem to remember a discussion about mounting ags for the steering axle reverse from the drive axle. I couldn't find anything in a quick search. Does anyone remember? Thanx, Dave
Brettw
I have been running the same tire tread on my snow machine. They are mounted as shown in the picture in your link, and function very well. If you aren't liking it, it wouldn't be all that hard to swap 'em left for right, either.
RickS
As I understand it if you are running AG tires on the front of a two wheel drive tractor one should run them reversed when compared to the drive axle. That said there was a recent picture in another topic that shows all four tires mounted the same. I have heard running the AG tires reversed on the steer axle is supposed to improve steering control and traction. when I mounted for AG tires on my sovereign I mounted the front tires reversed. MARK (LI)
I have a 2 stage blower for my Broadmoor(14 hv) and even with chains and weights, does not live up to expectations...the blower is 40" .....although those tires are a great price...I really don't think that they will help...you have to keep in mind that the Broadmoors were only Lawn Tractors. although I think this years are classified as GTs...I know they are available with an option of bolt on rear tires Edited November 12, 2020 by MARK (LI)

I know the small frames are pretty limited in their abilities. But I'm firmly planted in suburbia, where I'm just cutting grass and clearing the driveway of snow. I have 3 walk-behind snowthrowers, but my upstairs tenant doesn't have a car, giving me the opportunity to mount and try my small frame snowthrower. I'll document my attempt and let the collective learn from my efforts. What the heck, it'll be fun.
MARK (LI)
I am only on a little more than a quarter acre, and mine could not handle it...I hope you do better than I did...Also...which model Broadmoor is yours? rich_kildow
I just put those exact tires on the front of my 7116 for plow duty and have htem oriented that way. Chains on the back with a stinger and 2 donuts. We've had plowable snow but I didn't want to just move all my gravel around, so I let it freeze down and haven't tried them out yet.
