Hi-low , or Hi/Low , however its called, It was working on the one big Ten before I removed to and oput it on the other Big Ten. Now it will not work in low range. Pulley just stops locked up and tries  to smoke the belt.

Cant figure out if I re-installed it wrong somehow, or if it needs spaced pout with washers I may have for got or ???

First one of these I have ever had to monkey with for the large frames..

Any experts out there got any thoughts?

Thanks..

I was into one of these on a B12 I restored for my dad in about 2003.  Cant remember what it even looks like inside anymore.  It's a trailer queen but it works.

Sam,

No experience with that hi-lo, but on the ones for the small frame Simplicity's I had a similar issue with one a long time ago, seems to me that the set screws had come loose and it had slid on the shaft to where it would lock up.  I would go back over installation and make sure all is right there before tearing it apart.  If it is locking up, I would think it has to be either it is going into high gear before the dog on the housing is disengaging, or else it is in both high and low at the same time.

Well Steve, it turns out I missed tightening one of the 2 set screws. The other apparently worked free  and the whole unit was sliding out on the shaft  instead of just the outer part.

All fixed up now. Thanks for the beacon of what to maybe look for....
