HA or 4L... Is there a difference?

Recommended Posts

I've been looking in the belt cross reference today, and I have a question, is the HA belt the same as a 4L belt? Both have dimentions of 1/2" across the back and 5/16" down the side. Is there some sort of power rating? I have a B-210 with the 42" deck and I'm using two 3L belts with no problem, even though it calls for a 3V? Thanks as always, John[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/belts/belts_(pg19).htm']http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/belts/belts_(pg19).htm[/a]

John According to my Simplicity belt book dated 1999. page, appendix D-1 an HA belt is 1/2" wide and 11/32" thick a NO.2 or(4L) is 1/2" wide by 9/32" thick. This & $1.00 might get you a small coffee Maynard aka/UCD

Here is a link to a great variety of engineering standardization information. You'll find everything from spring calculators to bolt standards, drill sizes, and lots of conversion tables for standard sizes of stuff. Happy surfing. Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
