HA or 4L... Is there a difference?

I've been looking in the belt cross reference today, and I have a question, is the HA belt the same as a 4L belt? Both have dimentions of 1/2" across the back and 5/16" down the side. Is there some sort of power rating? I have a B-210 with the 42" deck and I'm using two 3L belts with no problem, even though it calls for a 3V? Thanks as always, John[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/belts/belts_(pg19).htm']http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/belts/belts_(pg19).htm[/a]

John According to my Simplicity belt book dated 1999. page, appendix D-1 an HA belt is 1/2" wide and 11/32" thick a NO.2 or(4L) is 1/2" wide by 9/32" thick. This & $1.00 might get you a small coffee Maynard aka/UCD

Here is a link to a great variety of engineering standardization information. You'll find everything from spring calculators to bolt standards, drill sizes, and lots of conversion tables for standard sizes of stuff. Happy surfing.
