Unofficial Home of Old Simplicity & Allis-Chalmers Garden Tractors

Well, "Talking Tractors" does not mention scale . . .

I have a 1/16th scale of a 7060. Found it when a friend of mine in Rochester took me to a toy store because of my interest in model RR. Spotted the 7060 and it came home with me!
Funny: His wife was at work while we were galivanting around, and the tractor in box was on the table when she came home. She asked him, "WHY did YOU buy a tractor?" We played it up a bit before admitting it was mine!
I have a 1/64 scale 7045. I moved it forward and put the 7580 behind it.
The bottom shelf is a Structo cement mixer I got when I was five.
The Tonka camper is an ebay purchase to replicate one I got from Santa.

And the 7060 with duals, held on at this point with a rubber band!

Looks to me as the orange should have the top shelf, I have to admit I've got some other colors but their  not top shelf

Think I started a thread a while back that dealt with our toy collections, here's mine , just to show ya'll that I have more than orange, just a few of them

Could look at it like the bottom shelf supports all the stuff above it....gotta put the good stuff on the bottom to carry the load

Your collection dwarfs mine:

Closest my daughter could find to a Sovereign.

I should probably donate it to @720nut so he could keep it with him at all times to look at it whenever he felt the urge.  666

Taken this morning; noticed I had added some things.
Most of the 1/16 tractors & 1/64 cars here represent what we have owned.  Except for the Fort GT . . . :(
Some of the toys are what I had as a kid or bought later to replace lost ones.
The Cat Scraper & Dozer were what was on the Davis Creek Dam construction site. I didn't run them, but was around them. I ran the water truck & articulated packer, also here, but an older version of what we had.20210131_113256.thumb.jpg.dac4dfeb1426d01150a466051215f158.jpg

I have one of those in my collection!  I've been collecting 1/16 and 1/64 toys for years.  As you can see I have a shelf full of orange and not much else. sm04   The 1/64 scale 7060 I have is a National Farm Machinery show toy that is just as detailed as that 7580.  I also build 1/25 scale Ford semi and straight trucks.

Funny story about my 1/64 7580. I was watching an ebay auction for a  National Farm Machinery show toy. I was the winning bidder with a maximum bid of $30. Got an email that I was the leader.
And a the same time saw an email that an Ertyl 7580 was in shipment!
WHAT???
Looked, and I had bought it with a Buy It Now option!
So, the moral of the story is: Keep track of what you are doing on ebay while drinking . . .
(I was able to contact the seller and cancel my bid!)

Hick definitely favors green over orange. 666

Yeah, grew up on Green, but on the farm, the 1984 Allis 7060 was MY tractor! (Hence my avatar here.) Loved that beast! I could run that 16 hours a day and not be fatigued at the end. The 1974 Deere 4230, OTOH, had my shoulders & across the back hurting in 2 1/2 hours!
My Dad & brother did not like the Allis; said it was uncomfortable to run! So things worked out real good there!

Biggest I had was a 6080 4x4 w/duals , nice tractor after I found a crankshaft, had front support and still broke it.

Most what we farmed with were WD, WD45 and a couple of B's , ole and one lone C, when I bought the 6080 really thought I had something.

Sure do miss those days.
