landlord voltage regulator

Hi, It may be a finned aluminum module aobut 3"x4"x1.5" behind the battery, or it may be located in the blower housing on the engine. Depends on how new the unit in and what spec engine it uses. The earlier units had the regulator remote mounted and the later units were in an opening in the blower housing so the cooling air cools the unit. If it is in the blower housing the 3 wire flat plug is on the outside. Good Luck, Al Eden

Doug, If it is in the blower housing, it will only be about 2 1/2" long and about 1 1/2" wide and will stick out only about 1/4 of an inch and will be held in by 2 cap screws, one on each end. There will be a flat plug with 3 wires that plugs into the side. Good luck, Al Eden
