Wanna Test?

We've made changes and confirmed that Netscape 4.0 works at least here. Please try again. We haven't tested 3.0 since we don't have it....

If your version of Netscape is not working click on the Netscape logo on the upper right corner of your browser and down load 4.61. It's free and Y2K compliant. Tim

Kent, I got to the join screen fine this time (with both
netscape 3 & 4). I filled out the form & submitted it
but I must have done something wrong as I didn't ever get
'in' and I can't seem to log on - I get msg to the effect
my nickname wasn't found. Should I try it again?
Thanks, John

Kent, When I clicked on join club I got the header and the rest of the screen was blank. Tried it several times and never got the screen to join the club. Tim

Kent,

Sure, why not?? I'm a glutton for punishment.

Now, first problem. With Netscape 4.5 when I hit the
join club option the only thing I get is the header at
the top of the page. The rest of the page is blank.

Thanks,
Roy

The problems joining are likely browser related. If you find a blank screen there, can you let me know what browser and version number you are using....

Thats one of several reasons I asked for help in testing. There's only five major versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape in use today, plus all of the derivatives of Communicator vs. Navigator, etc.

Thanks!!!!

In trying to resolve more of the Netscape VS Internet Explorer "trade war differences" we broke the Join Club function again about 6PM. Please try again tomorrow.

A huge THANKS to everyone for testing this out. This is the kind of stuff you can't test on one or two machines -- at least easily.

I like what I can see, but when I clicked on join
club I got the header and the rest of the screen was
blank. Gave it several tries with netscape versions
3.0 & 4.04.

I'm looking for a few people to help me test the functions of the new clubhouse as we get them on this server. Only qualifications needed are patience and curiousity... there's still known bugs and incomplete portions.

If interested, a few points first:
1. ALL information posted there will be lost when we move this discussion database to that discussion forum.
2. You will have to "Join Club" there before you can see much...
3. You'll lose that info too, and will be required to "rejoin" when we actually go "live." We'll have to delete all the "test members" to go live.
4. Given all that, if you like to live dangerously, see the link below. Read my two messages on the discussion forum there, titled "READ ME FIRST" and "Known Bugs".
5. Post messages THERE (not here) about any bugs you find, any problems you have using it (I still haven't written a Help page for it), and recommendations for improvement.
6. Ignore the "programmer humor" you might see there. You can only input so much test info before things get a little strange...

Thanks for being a guinea pig....[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/clubhouse/']http://www.simpletractors.com/clubhouse/[/a]

Kent,
It's friday, but I get the same response when I try to join as everyone else. I'm using IE 5.00.2314.1003IC.
