Unofficial Home of Old Simplicity & Allis-Chalmers Garden Tractors

It's for an oldie, but what exactly?

Here's one of the old Cyclops headlights like the one on the Putt-Putt. However, this one has a bracket whereas the Putt-Putt is directly attached to the hood. Does anyone have any insight on this? Could this perhaps be a rear work light?

That is not one of the Guide lights Simplicity used, and the bracket is not Simplicity either.  The shape mimics the first type of cyclops light mount, and it could very well be homemade or from another application.  Looks like it would work fine for you though.

There have been many styles of "generic" tractor fender mount work lights available in the farm stores over the years.
