Digging the trench today, came across this. It's not from anything I run!

I have lost nuts and washers in the grass, but a mower blade.

I almost lost a mower blade the other day. I was mowing and must have it a rock just right causing the center bolt to un- thread. I heard what sounded like a bad bearing and the grass not being cut in the center area under the deck. Pulled the deck and the blasé was about 4 threads from coming off. So I believe it can happen. But it happening and you not notice, not sure about that.
