BenB 3 Report post Posted May 27, 2002 Sam I would like to help, but I am not sure what you are asking about. Can you give me the part number for the piece or pieces involved? Ben
SmilinSam 2,818 Report post Posted May 27, 2002 Side links are the two adjustable rods with the cranks on top that go from the lift shaft behind the seat down to the lower arms of the 3 point. You turn the cranks to lengthen or shorten the link. Its made up of 3 basic parts 171747, 171701, and 171825.
MPH 12 Report post Posted May 27, 2002 Gues I'll add a question to your post Sam, How far back on the lower arms do they hook, and what is the length of the lower arms?? Ýhanks..MPH
BenB 3 Report post Posted May 27, 2002 mph... The sidearms(#168293)dimension between openings is 21.5". The Clevis assembly pin(#174492)is 5.5" from the rear opening that accepts the implement hitchpin. Sam.. I am probably still missing the boat on this. The length from the lower pin hole in pc.#171747 to the float lockout pin in pc.#171825 is approx. 12.25" when pc. #171701 is threaded completely into pc. #171747. There is 4.5" of thread. There is an additional 4.5" of un-threaded area for the float position. Hope this answers your question. If not, let me know. Not sure I understand the "opened and closed" part.
