Behind the Seat wooden slat toolbox

Recommended Posts

I was looking for a web page that featured a small removeable crate like box that fit behind the seat of a garden tractor. Has anyone else seen this web page or even made something similar. I would like to make one for my Dad's garden tractor but I need to see a picture of it before I get started. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've seen "Universal ATV/Garden Tractor" poly toolboxes on e-Bay, nothing made of wood though. From the looks of them I would not get one because they would interfere with my rear mounted implements. That may or may not be a consideration for everyone, though.

If you do not care to keep your tractor original, one of the best items that I have found for tool storage is a military 5.56 mm ammunition can. They work well enough to keep ammo dry for years so your hand tools should survive in it. The can is 11" long X 7" high X 5.5" wide. Mount to the fender.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
