Life didn’t really start for me till October 31 2020.  That’s when I got my first sovereign.  The next one came December 26 2020.  I don’t remember the dates for the rest of them but I’ll try to put pictures in order.    Well I’m not so computer or phone savvy so there just going to show up7B3E4903-4488-492F-8B72-6448563E97C0.jpeg.514ed8ff48e61c24dfbf0613bf0367f1.jpeg

Most of these came with decks.   Two of the others came with snowblowers and I had bought a dozer blade also.  Up till a couple weeks ago that’s all I had but I had bought a small moldboard plow and cultivator because my oldest daughter wants to put in a garden in the spring which brings us to yesterday when I stopped to look at a larger plow and I came home today with a truckload of stuff.  With mower decks included with what I had and what I picked up today it put me up to 16 implements and only 6 tractors.  The wife already told me that I’m not allowed to buy 10 more tractors.   But I bet I could sneak in a few more.   As long as they are Orange that is.

ps.  The reason I bought three tillers today was because I got a heck of a deal on them.

Great collection of Orange.  And in my experience on this site, you hold the record for the fastest tractoritis collecting.  Congratulations.

A few comments on the truckload of attachments.
You got the complete package with the 46” trip blade - usually the bracket that holds the operator end of blade angle control rod is missing.

For the tillers, hopefully you got at least one set of the idler pulleys required to run them:

KirksTiller_0021.jpg.7b280e7fc3ccc09b21feb1c034529277.jpg

Hanging by belt, top left of above pic; a pic of them installed (@RayS pic):

RayS3.jpg.551733866413b1dd5923009b47fa4330.jpg

You’ll also need a bracket and idler to keep the belt away from the tranny hydro filter:

One of your tractor's might already have it.

For the snowblower, you’ll need a single pulley hitch to run the blower from the mid PTO as designed; the two pulley hitch needs a front PTO.

single_pulley.JPG.2dca097cdb86b1453789dbd47336c82d.JPG(Another @RayS pic I believe)

For the moldboard plow, you’ll also need some additional rear hitch parts that I’ll let someone else describe that knows what they’re talking about.

Thanks PhanDad for the info.  I did get one set of the idler pulleys for the tiller.  He said he might have some more in boxes of stuff he hasn’t had time to go through.   I do happen to have one of the single pulley hitches for the new to me blower but as I looked at it today it didn’t look like it lined up quite straight with the larger pulley on the blower.  I’ll look at it closer when I get a chance. As for the tractor mounted idler two of my tractors have them.   Got lucky there. And again thanks for all the info.  As for the tractoritis.  I have had the shakes lately and when the wife talks to me it seams to go in one ear and out the other. 🤢

You'll probably find the blower drive pulley is mounted inboard (to the left when sitting on the tractor); it's the correct position for the two pulley hitch.  For the single pulley hitch, the pulley hub needs to be mounted outboard:

TunnelHeighta.jpg.7a6a6c52ae747114d883f80c921bb238.jpg

Then the belt line up should look like this:

I've had a problem with the blower pulley coming loose during operation; I solved the problem by adding a 3/4" single piece clamp collar to the end of the shaft:

Ps.  That’s a really nice looking tiller you’ve got there.

It's moved on; I kept the blue AC Homelite one.  You'll probably find you'll also thin the herd at some point.  :(

Thank you.   I’ll give that a try.  By the way.   How is it in all the pictures you post everything looks all squeaky clean and new.

I've been lucky to find some NOS attachments at reasonable prices (as the snow blower shown above), and some "one owner" equipment over the 25 years since I started accumulating.  That and most all of the pics I take are after I've cleaned the item up.  Also I've stayed away from equipment that was obviously outside; if it was purchased for parts, the tractor could be in rougher shape, such as this HB-112 and 3310H:

As_Bought_0013.jpg.32eafa6bcfc71ab3a273b41d566f32a6.jpg

IMG_0033.thumb.JPG.5c71f1c5abd682f1e1ab3cf22540ffd7.JPG

And you can be fooled; this AC712H was "shed" kept:

712_eBay1.jpg.08be1d8d82a5c5d2b06fa629594c9151.jpg

But the "shed" turned out to have 2 open sides.  Although the deck looks pretty good in the above pic, the shell was a total rust out and the interior surfaces of the tractor had lots of mostly surface rust.

And my main mowing tractor, an AC Homelite T-12 is far from new/squeaky clean but it's in decent shape for being used in my family since 1974 (Dad bought it used; it was about 2 years young at the time).  A pic from 2003:

Home1.jpg.69cf15f89cc54df0f26ae35a9cc9353a.jpg

In 2011 I found an NOS AC300 deck (almost an exact match to the Homelite deck):

IMG_5587.thumb.jpg.b712052f72c8573a59332a9fcb72ad42.jpg

So in the spring of 2012, the 'ol Hommie got a new deck (and a new seat and tires along the way):

IMG_6234.thumb.jpg.5b51af8d4d83f4e2fe617835370e4d91.jpg

The T-12 broke an axle tube in winter of 2013/4 plowing snow; so in the spring it got a tranny replacement and general clean up:

That’s pretty sharp.   After work today I picked up an AC revitalizer and I’m still not quite sure what it does.  I’ll have to wait till probably Wednesday to get a pic of it.  I’m at volleyball now and my daughter has a game tomorrow too.

It dethatches your lawn by making about 1/2" deep (adjustable) grooves spaced about 1-1/2" apart.  After raking up the thatch, it's great for overseeding the lawn.

Here's a post about what to expect:

Ok.  So I’ve got some pictures of the revitalizer and other stuff.  When I get a new toy I have to take it out of the box and play with it.   And sometimes break it.

Next time I know to use ag tires and more weight.   My oldest daughter was more excited for the garden implements then I was.

Here’s some different triads.   On the first one I pulled I had labeled everything.   Now I just do it.   Same with the carb tear down.    I was so scared the first time now it’s just another thing to do.

I'm sure you have done your research on the Triad engines.  If not, you have a lot of reading to do.  Cleanliness is next to Godliness & you are doing the right things.  Pay close attention to the plastic cam covers.  The cover with the fuel pump is notorious for cracking around the bolt holes.  My suggestion is remove the pump in its entirety.  Make an aluminum block-off plate & cover the opening.  Plumb in a barb fitting & use that for an impulse fuel pump.

Thanks Shawn.   After I bought the first one I realized it had the triad in it.   Got it from an online auction and very few pics.  Didn’t know what I was getting myself into.   So I did a lot of research and I’ve done some of the mods but not all of them yet.  Not long ago I did remove the fuel pump on one of them and put in an electric one to give it a try.  I think I’m going to do that to the other 2.    I try not to use those when it gets to hot outside thank God for the commands.

I'm one of the few on here that really likes them.  Smooth, quiet, fuel efficient & plenty of power.

The oil pump in my opinion is what will be the downfall to the remaining ones in existence if the basic modifications were performed.  Unless you find one that dropped a cylinder & has a good oil pump.  No new NOS parts around for the oil pump any longer.
