Grader Blade Weights

Recommended Posts

Many of you know I like running boards. Well, here’s an easy way to stay comfortable while adding down pressure to a grader blade without having to stand on stirrups. Plus, you will finally have a use for some of that health equipment you bought. Just weld or bolt a length of common 1” water pipe to the grader blade stirrup brackets. Slide a barbell shaft through the pipe and add weights. I added 70 lbs. to each side (140 total), and boy does that blade dig in. If you actually use the weights in your gym, take them back off the tractor. If you don’t have weights, visit your local dump. There is usually all kinds of exercise equipment that people tossed out.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
