I have 2 landlords & was wondering what the Rule of thumb for changing bevel/transmission fluid. I us one for mowing & the other set up for gardening(tiller & garden plow). I know the mowing tractor gets used a lot more.

Hello, I use a dispenser pump from a one gallon soap jug to suck the oil from the BGB.

it takes some pumping, but is easier than trying to drain,  when no drain plug is there .

a straw, or piece of tubing ,can be used to extend the length.

I like using 90 wt gear oil in BGB

Thanks Ken in Mi

I should of re worded different-do you change the fluid by time, Like every 5 years or 10 years, since no hour meter.
