I recently purchased a 616 Allis that had been involved in a fire. The structure it was in caught fire, and it suffered some damage as a result. The paint on the hood, and fenders was pretty much scorched off, as well as the front tires were burned up. Amazingly, the wiring is largely intact, and I was able to get it running once the starter was repaired (by me). Of course, I had to take the engine out to get at the starter. Anyway, I am thinking I might keep it pretty much as is, but make it functional. It runs and drives well, and both PTO's work, too, as well as the 3 point. I did have to throw some trailer tires up front to roll it on the trailer, but I am pleased with it!  It even came with a tiller! - - - Metalguy

A few more pics of Crispys progress. I 3d printed a air cleaner plenum, fixed the wiring, used the tiller, made a steering wheel, installed new tri rib front tires, new lights in original housings, built a back blade, and cleaned, and painted the dash with new decal... oh, and also using it to move some wood from trees I had taken out.

Wow!

No dust settles around you.

Do you have time to down a beer now and then?

Thanks, guys! Lots left to do, but getting there slowly. Having 4 tractors to work on all at once is sometimes daunting, but always satisfying! ------Metalguy

Know all about this at one time, had 5 Powermax/Allis and 12 others, always at least one needing something done. Rite now 9020 needing a starter and not finding time to get to it.

That's a nice job! It will be running long after 'todays' rigs are dead and gone.

Be careful not to scratch the paint! LOL

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
