really need some help here regarding a 3314

OK guys, I originally asked about this tractor about 5 years ago and as luck would have it, I never got around to completing the work I had intended due to an ongoing health problem. Be that as it may, I am now in the process or resurrecting this old dog. It's been on my work table in my shed, torn apart for all of those years. The biggest problem is that I cannot remember a few things, like how the 4 pole ignition switch is connected, or should it be a 5 pole switch?  What wires go where, where does the ignition coil mount, is there a spacer block between the nylon disc and the drive shaft? and I'm sure there will be more questions before I am done.

so, can anybody help an Olde Farte out here? Really I'm only 75, soon to be a year older tho. Thanx in advance

The wiring diagram for all 33xx tractors from the parts manual:

The diagram shows a 4 pole switch.

The original Briggs engine would have a magneto under the blower tin above the flywheel.  If you have an ignition coil, someone's converted it to battery ignition and the above wiring would have been modified to provide +12V to the ignition coil rather than grounding the magneto.

The driveshaft IPL shows spacers (part Y) at the engine end (and no "special washers" (part AC) against the disk):

You should download the manuals at the Simplicity Manual Site (link is in the 4th sticky post from the top of this forum's post).  Use 990653 for the MFG#.
