B-1 drive shaft and couplings

Recommended Posts

Hello I am reassembling my B-1 and I wasn't 100% sure about the drive shaft coupler. In my manual it looks like one piece, but mine is in two. With the motor out I can just reach in and pull the driveshaft out. this does not seem right. If so where can I get a new coupler?? Thanks

This is a comen problem with these old tractors.I try to put the good one where it can be seen and either get the replacement fiberglass one or you can make your own by cutting out a piece of thick belting and using the old plates bolt it together. It looks OK and has been working for me for years. But you do have to drill holes in the belting. It is hard to get it in the right place .bob

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.

Try this web site for the previous message I reported that did not work for you guys.
The message is about a man in Arkansas who builds miniature vehicles out of old refrigerators that are drivable.
