Recommended Posts

I have a problem with my idle. I replaced the governor spring and i still have a throttle that wont return to a idle. from what i can find  on YouTube, my problem in inside the engine. All i could find was a kolar video . Onan service manual says something about flyaway  balls.

Can someone tell me how to fix  my governor problem

Make sure you have the rod from the governor to the carb throttle shaft connected at the right hole. When I got mine, it was connected like this:

It should have been connected to the bottom hole on the throttle shaft arm.

Here's info from the CCKB manual.

While I'm sure it could be something internal, I find it unlikely. I bet something's just out of whack externally. Did you use a genuine Onan CCKB governor spring so it's calibrated properly?
