Sunstar TieRod Ends

Recommended Posts

My ~'83 Sunstar has developed a loose tie rod end, it keeps popping off the ball on the steering knuckle. When disconnected, the tie rod itself seems very loose...is this normal?? What keeps the ball in the socket?? I have a parts book for the tractor, but I recently finished my garage, and now I can't find anything! (hehe) -karl

All is OK, my good wife Dot located my book for me (it wasn't even IN the garage!). Turns out the item in question is listed as a BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY, so I just ordered one and it should hook me up! Thanks to all who read! -karl

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
