Are you looking for period correct original seating, or a good tractor seat?  I have found these to be pretty decent for the money and won't let any water get in, it's more of a solid foam than a covering over foam.  About 90 bux I think  Concentric International Black Deluxe High-Back Seat

If you can still find a "Michigan high back" equivalent locally they are probably the softest and most comfortable with a more period correct style.

They have a metal pan with a thick rubber cover similar to the seats Simplicity was using in the 1996-2000 era.  
Any seat you buy, you will probably need to either drill holes or make an adapter plate as the mounting points will likely be too close together.Below is one on my 6216 that I no longer have.
