AC 712-S advice

Recommended Posts

I've got a chance to pick up a 712-S locally. It's an early model based on the headlights. Can anybody give me tips on where to look for problems, and what a fair price would be?

Don't know the tractor but from what I've read on hear over the years, check out the shuttle good, I understand they are nice if they have been maintained and not abused but when found in need of repair seem to wind up as parts tractors. Other than that, check out engine and steering and buy as cheap as possible. at least a nickle short of making the seller overjoyed..MPH

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
