Can anyone id this Cultivator?

Visited the scap yard, what a sad site. Two sweepsters were in the pile to get hauled to the crusher... I just couldn't figure out a use for them so I passed them up. Anyone local might have a chance at them in the morning... Anyway, I did buy a cultivator & plow for a few bucks. I was wondering if anyone's seen a similar cultivator. I can't quite figure how the handle raises/lowers the back half, an weather I missing some parts. hmm says HTML is off, the pic link may not work, ( how do I turn it on?!) <p> Thanks -Rick

They both look like attachments for VB walking tractors. However, the cultivator appears to have had some modifications because the center piece behind the first drawbar should have a crank handle. The one I have has double drawbars, but with wheels. Those cultivator plows do look interesting, I keep them if I were you. That's about all I know. James

I agree with James. Check this out. http://www.simpletractors.com/walkers/cultivator.htm Try and get the Sweepster, it's a very versatile attachment. I use mine year round. http://www.simpletractors.com/models/300_series/sweeper.htm

that makes some sense... On the front arm are two stands without a blade, but a theaded hole- that's where the wheels musta went (I was thinking they were skid plates or such) there are 4 blades (one is just standing in front of the wheel holder) three have the 's' curve and one is sorta straight. all look pretty original though. The plow/cultivator were pretty separated, don't think they were from the same lot. The plow had a brinly hitch with, kinda looks like bolens hitch to me. I guess this cultivator model just had up/down adusts, the depth could be adjusted on the individual blades... No room for the sweepster, no snow, no paved drive, and I certainly don't have a fine enough lawn to use it on. Now, if you can figure a way for it to kill gophers, that'd be another story!
