Mower deck belt will not stay on. 4040

Recommended Posts

I have no experience with PowerMaxs but some general things to check: Make sure the belt is properly tensioned and make sure you have the correct SIMPLICITY belt. Some others (such as Gates,) are not the correct length and most are NOT built to handle all the twsting, turning, and back side idlers that these belts often see. Make sure all pulleys can turn freely and are not binding. The deck should always be engaged and disengaged near idle to prolong the life of the belt. I'll probably tink f something else later but you can check this first. Jordan

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
