Mower deck belt will not stay on. 4040

Can anyone give me any ideas why my mower deck belt from my engine to mower deck keeps coming off..... 4040 simplicity

Hi, check your center spindle to make sure the bearings are ok. Also, the moveable pivot on the hitch kit might have enough wear to let it come out of line. Lastly, make sure to use a simplicity belt. If you are not, the cords of the belts you are putting on are breaking and alowing it to come off. Neal
