More 720 Woes...

Finally getting the engine and such back in the tractor and was pushing it across the floor out in the open to work on and noticed that something is catching in the rear end. Every 1/2 to full revolution of the wheels there is a heavy "click" and the tractor seems to jar slightly to the right as it clicks. I'm assuming differential or final drive. I'll block it up tonight and spin each wheel seperate to see if its isolated in one side or the other. Anyone else had these symptoms??

I have noticed it on tractors (hydro or manual) when one tire is low on air (not hardly low enough to be noticeable until air pressure gauge shows 2-4 psi). It may have something to do with the limited slip but it has never been a problem.

assuming it has the drop axle, check the axle bearings. Jack it up and see if the wheel will "wiggle". If it is, they are standard bearings ----BR6 NAPA 2 per side and grase seal. Had to replace mine.
