Could someone tell me what grade of oil to use in the Bevel Gear Box on an HB-112 tractor Also would someone have an exploded parts picture of a Bevel Gear Box. Mine seems to have a lot of play when I turn the side belt pulley - approx 3/4 of an inch of belt travel. Is this excessive and the gears need replacing ? Gary

According to page 4 of the manual on the Simplicity Website (http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/6767PRINT/PDF_files/TP_400_1302_00_SV_S.pdf) it uses SAE 90 oil in the bevel gear box. I think this file also has an exploded view of the gear box. The cross reference from the AC part number to the Simplicity Part number on the Simplicity tech pub site showed 3 diferrent manuals for the 3112 ( ie HB-112) hope it helps

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
