I have a 99? sovereign bought new not knowing the triad motor was a piece of junk, only ran for a few years with meticulous maintenance. Bought another sovereign with the Kohler command and love it. I still have the original one and have picked a command engine and want to do a repower. I have the driveshaft adapter is there anything else I will need? Any tips on wiring ? Thanks for any help

Welcome to the club.

I wrote a Triad to Command repower DIY which explains everything you need to do (and more some would say).  It's available to dues paying members of the Club ($10 for a year - a great deal).  The DIY is available at two locations on the site:

https://simpletractors.com/forums/topic/51265-kohler-triad-replacement-command/

https://simpletractors.com/files/file/141-kohler-command-repower-from-triad/

And depending on exactly what Command engine you have picked (and if you still have the Triad engine) @SmilinSam just posted an ad on eBay with almost all of the parts you need:
