Turning radius 3515s vs 7100?

So I’m curious if the reason for the tighter turning radius is just due to the shorter wheel base? I’ve been trying to figure some way of making the the radius better on the 7100 along with giving it a more friendly stance for hills like my yard by widening the front axle. Any thoughts on this?

Due to the way the front axle pivots, I doubt that widening it will help with stability on hills.  Years ago, Al had an article about widening the rear wheels an inch or inch and a half to the outside and using 10;5 x 12 rear tires to help side stability.  This seems to have helped mine.
