Another Sunstar joined the fleet!

It was meant to be! Yesterday, I stumbled across a new listing on FB marketplace. It was simply listed as a Simplicity mower for $500. I immediately recognized it as a Sunstar with a 20hp Magnum. I began to figure out how I could quickly make the 1.5 hour (one way) trip to buy it. But by the time I made arrangements with my father to have him pick it up, it was sold to somebody else. However, I sent a message to the seller letting her know that, "should the deal fall through with the original buyer", I was very interested. Well low and behold, it fell through. She contacted me and I sent my Dad on the road. (He's a retired trucker, so a little road trip was welcome). I am now the owner of my 5th Sunstar! Only two actually run at the moment. It came with the original sales invoice and a lot of other documentation. I am particularly excited about the Simplicity Brochure. (It's in terrific condition). One of the best parts of this recent acquisition, I don't have to fix it. Although it could stand a bit of TLC, it is ready to mow.
