Belts Filters Bearings ....Keeping track of them all

Heres a simple and very effective way to keep track of all the different belts, filters ,  bearings, headlights, and anything else you use over the years....and what they go on.

Find a unused wall section in your shop and do this:

Whenever I buy  new replacement items like these, I just cut off the package end with all the brand & part name and numbers on it, then I get out a permanent marker and write  on it just what pieces of machinery it fits on. The just staple it to the wall for future reference.

This is a system that really works, and I never have to dig around  in books or piles of papers to find what I need. Nothing ever gets lost over the years either.👍

I do the same but there on a shelf in a cupboard in the shop.

Great idea, BUT... Here's the sum-total packaging on the latest filter I bought. Saran wrap!😂

Mine is similar, but inside of my recycled kitchen cabinet doors.
