I know SEW still sell a complete engine swap but they will not sell just the adapter separately. Quote

I got my b and s vanguard 23 commercial from a series 2500 cub cadet 2554 i believe. I liked the cub driveshaft design so I took the BGB driveshaft ear from My 7100 series and cut and welded it to one end of the cub cadet driveshaft. It is very tight fit with hydro lift and rubs cylinder just enough to leave a polished mark on driveshaft. I would guess electric lift may be a tighter fit. Quote
simplewrench Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 I repowered an Allis 916 with a vanguard I went the opposite way and had a neighbor weld the cub cadet end onto the Allis shaft. My came from a cub 2145 if memory serves but that happens less all the time. Quote
