anyone use partstree for anything?  few years ago i think i used them for a washing machine part but maybe it was someone else.

now i want to buy steering bearings for one of my foot draggers. partstree shows the part, BD, in the diagram. says they have 2 left.  there is a picture against a grid but no info as to the grid size. the description is wacky; 5.40 length, 3.95 wide, 0.65 high. the spindle bushings,  part AA, simplicity part # 154289, superceded to 2154289SM, is described in inches as being 3.95 long and wide and .85 inches high .

anyone know what the grid they use as background is measured in? cause the pics look right but something isn't right.

i am at a loss here. i did pick up some flanged bushing at Ace thinking to modify them but that is not going to be as easy as i had envisioned

The front axle bushings, Simplicity P/N 2154289SM are 0.756 ID X 0.885 OD X 0.75 LG. I ordered several and were on backorder forever. I ended up finding NOS on eBay. May have to have a machine shop make some for you.

I generally use Ebay anymore for parts that are, or may be NLA. Lots of these parts warehouses online show parts as "available ". Then someone  actually orders the part and it goes immediately on backorder. Takes sometimes weeks for them to figure out its NLA and then refund your money. Then they take the part off their active inventory....
