Good day sorry for all the questions but I find the information that members are willing to share here is invaluable so here is my question

for safety and I believe a requirement for pulling around here I believe you need to have a kill switch installed that being said how do I wire in the kill switch on the Allis Chalmers 710 garden tractor?

as always thanking you in advance for all your help

If the tractor still has the 10HP Kohler engine with battery ignition, I would wire the switch into the +12V feed to the coil.

So one wire to the + of the coil and the other wire to frame ground going through the switch correct phandad?

NO - that would make a short circuit and blow the circuit breaker.

A SPST (single pole, single throw) switch in the wire to the coil:

"On" - switch allows voltage to flow to the coil.

"Off" - switch blocks voltage flow to the coil.
