Bill725
Recently I replaced the OEM hydro cam roller on my Sovereign with an Oilite bronze bushing. The picture is of the bronze bushing after approximately 2 hours of operation. The hydro tended to whine more so I reinstalled the OEM cam roller. I think the OEM rubber cam roller provides a cushioning effect whereas the bronze bushing did not.
GregB
What kind of lube was on the OD of bushing? Seemed like the spring puts a good amount of side load on the bushing. I threw one on the 7117H. Thought it was loose in the cam slot. May still turn up a delrin one with a larger OD for less slop in the control linkage.
